How to contribute to our vision

Keen and enthusiastic person required who is looking for challenges in the field of Electrical Systems design in wind power at our engineering head offices at Brande, Denmark. You will develop and support insulation design for industry leading permanent magnet direct drive generators for wind turbines. You will implement and validate your designs on test rigs and turbines ensuring that they operate smoothly and efficiently for the benefit of society. You are proactive, work well within a small team of like-minded engineers and capable of presenting technical ideas and concepts to a wider audience.

An individual with a B.Sc. with relevant industry experience in a product engineering environment, where you have been involved in the development of products from conception through to serial production. You have experience and knowledge in electrical components and appreciate the operational requirement of your application, along with a proven track record of implementation.
You’ll lead technology development projects in the Electrical Systems domain: Manage development and implementation of technologies and or features for total solutions in close cooperation with team of engineers and stakeholders placed inan international workingenvironment.
You’re responsible for project breakdown, planning and execution; from top level plans down to executable tasks, delivering technically robust and fully compliant designs to the best possible product where you’re:
  • Full project responsibility in terms of time, cost and quality delivered - from scoping phase until project closure
  • Lead the project team in close cooperation with the technically lead engineers, solution owner and Chief Engineer
  • Project execution in accordance with Siemens Gamesa Technology processes and tools
  • Coordination with other modules, prototype & componentvalidation, supply-chain and as well with external suppliers and partners

You are familiar with project management tools JIRA (experience in similar tools is acceptable) and have a background as in electrical engineer with knowledge of the steps and processes required to bring a technology from ideas to reality.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English and a valid driver’s license.
