What's the role?

In the last few years you have been able to drive forward pre-development projects through your expertise in control engineering and were able to convince your environment of your innovations and creative ideas with your independent way of working. You are looking for the challenge of solving complex, technical tasks in simulation and prototype construction and are not afraid to go the extra mile.
Your ambition is to actively shape our technology development of hand-held power tools through your own work and to become part of our Hilti family.
In addition to developing our products, your personal development is important to you and a career with more responsibility is your next goal.

Who is Hilti?

We develop, manufacture and sell cutting-edge products, technology, software and services for the global construction industry. Hilti stands for innovation, quality and direct customer relationships.
From the pre-development of our own motors, electronics and firmware, to series-maturity - our intelligent mechatronic systems come from our own research and development laboratories.
With 30,000 employees in more than 120 countries, we're a great place for you to show us your worth, step up to new challenges and grow in your career.

What does the role involve?

Your core task is the design of new, especially sensorless control strategies for our electromechanical brushless drive systems. This includes the development of new control algorithms, which you formulate in close cooperation with your interdisciplinary project team (drive experts, simulation, electronics and software engineers). You will act as an innovation driver in your field and, in addition to technology projects, you will also implement your own ideas for future-oriented, differentiating features and efficient drives. In addition to your development activities, the independent formulation of requirements, coordination within the project teams and documentation of your work results is part of your everyday work. We support you to develop in your role - and beyond.
Together we will discuss the strengths you can build on and how you can expand your skills.
We have 800 of the world’s best engineers developing and testing tomorrow’s technical solutions in our innovation center in Liechtenstein and Kaufering.
