Joining Finance and Performance Management, you will become part of a global organisation consisting of close to 200 employees – working to continuously optimise business performance across the VELUX Group through fact based support in close proximity to the business.

Your challenges

In this role, you will join the Group FP&A team, located at our head office in Hørsholm. The primary responsibility of the FP&A team is to ensure fact-based management information and insights for decision making. Partnering up with various parts of the organisation, the FP&A team is responsible for tracking, assessing and reporting corporate performance to top management.

In this position, you will refer to the Finance Manager, Group FP&A, whose responsibility lies within Group financial planning, including yearly Group level target setting, development and reporting of KPIs, financial support on strategic initiatives as well as reporting of monthly financial performance to the VELUX Management Group.

Specifically, as our new Associate Finance Business Analyst, you will:

  • Prepare monthly management material
  • Prepare material for the quarterly board of director meetings
  • Develop and maintain models and best practices supporting our deliveries
  • Report on operational and strategic KPIs connected to our annual performance wheel
  • Do ad hoc analyses, e.g. economic projections, production efficiency, sales development

Your qualifications

You have a strong flair for numbers and are particularly interested in financial analytical tasks. You have recently completed your MSc in Business Administration, Economics or similar (e.g. cand.merc, cand.polit, cand.oecon) or are just about to do so, and your are looking to kick-start your career in a global company.

Your strong point is number crunching and you hold solid IT skills. Especially experience within Excel and PowerPoint is important, and SAP and/or Power BI will be an advantage though not a prerequisite. You thrive working in a professional environment characterized by a high professional standard and broad collaboration with engaged colleagues, managers and stakeholders, and you take pride in delivering high-quality output by being thorough and quality-conscious. On top of that, you are efficient and analytical by nature and able to work independently with your tasks.

Other people describe you as socially intelligent, a quick learner who finds it easy to understand complex issues and someone who can communicate solutions to others in an easily comprehensible manner.

As you will be working with stakeholders with various backgrounds and nationalities, you must have a solid English proficiency level – verbally and in writing. Danish skills will be an advantage though not a prerequisite.
